The Magic of Weight Training
Ok, maybe it's not magic. Afterall, it does takes loads of hard work, dedication and motivation but weight training is quickly and undoubtedly becoming the cure, or at least symptom reliever, for many ailments. Weight training engages both the mind and body simultaneously, and it may also help to 'rewire' the brain through the learning of new movement patterns and muscle adaptation. The story of a 30 year old stroke victim who turned to weight training to help him recover is proof of the power that's held in forcing the body to adapt.
